Christine Prokop

With a B.A. in vocal performance and organ performance, Miss Prokop boasts a voice of pure tones and vibrant quality. Her musicianship and poise bring quality and professionalism to any event. Since a young age, Miss Prokop has both sung and played for weddings all over the Twin Cities and metro area. She is also a professionally trained cantor and song leader, capable of leading congregational song in a religious setting.

Along with her recital work, Miss Prokop has performed with the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra as part of a solo concert series, traveled to Italy and France on tour with various choirs, and sung the lead role in the 2006 St. Paul and Duluth performance of an Oratorio by Carissimi. In addition, she has recorded a commissioned piece by Martin Ellerby for vocal octet and wind ensemble at MPR studios in Saint Paul, MN. After recording, Miss Prokop traveled with the ensemble on tour in China where the piece was premiered in major concert venues in Beijing, Xi'an and Shanghai.
